Best Place Ever

Hosts are excellent. Very helpful. Close to the market. Great view of the harbour

Paid in full no key was left. I was stranded with my son till late at night with no where to go.

The gate doesnt close automatically and the pathway to the entrance could be paved and lit up to assist guests in getting in at night. It would also be great if there was a proper partition or privacy screen between the apartments on the balcony

The manager, Gabriel was friendly and the view at night was nice.

The host, ALEXANDRA, living oversea, did not communicate with us at all. Did not answer the phone or emails. The place at BEST PLACE EVER, HOUT BAY, is very small, no fan, no bedside tables with lights and NO place to wash your dishes. One must wash the dishes at the bathroom!!!! The showerhead is very low, my husband, not very tall, need to bend to get under the showerhead. We stayed only one night, because the door to the outside can ALSO not be closed properly. You CAN'T lock it, and THE BEST PLACE EVER is VERY near to a SCATTER-CAMP. It is not safe at all!!!! We canceled our stay on the same night that we arrived, the 24 Feb and did not receive any refund at all. Alexandra informed us that she can only refund us if they can find someone else to stay at the dates we canceled, which THEY did. But no refund at all, she is supposed to give booking.com the green light and she did NOT!!!! We are very gross and frustrated. Booking.com is not that helpful either. We could not leave Hout Bay early enough the next morning. The Best Place Ever is not a good reflection on Hout Bay.
