Stunning Views, the Sea & Table Mountain!

1. The location is very good, as long as you don’t have to eat out - nothing within walking distance. 2. The view must be stunning in summer - in a wet winter season, you’ll see nothing but the beach. 3. The secure parking is very welcome.

1. The intercom to and from the entrance gate is not working - anyone coming to see you can’t make contact. 2. The following appliances are not working:- WiFi, microwave oven, tumble dryer, 2 of the 3 heaters. 3. Broken handles on 2 cupboards, (which I fixed), blunt knives in wooden block, broken blind in bedroom. 4. Key safe at entrance rusted almost permanently closed. 5. No dishcloth or paper towels in the kitchen. 6. No shelf in the shower for shower gel or sponge/facecloth. 7. No hand towel for the basin. 8. No top sheet on the bed. 9. No Visitors file with emergency phone numbers, instructions on how to operate the various devices and appliances, no list of nearby restaurants. 10. Only tea bags and coffee grounds for the expresso machine, but no instant coffee for those who don’t drink expresso coffee.

Breath taking view

We got the key at a lockbox nearby. The apartment was clean with an exceptional view of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The apartment was well equiped and the bed was comfortable. There is secure parking and the beach is just a few steps away. Shop and good restaurants are nearby.

The furniture was nice and modern but being elderely it was a bit uncomfortable (to low) but not a problem.

Stunning views. Very clean. The washing machine was a bonus.

The WiFi did not work properly.

We loved the awakening sound of the sea waters. And of course the exceptional view!

The fact that I send in a request for chocolates and non-alcoholic champagne for me and my husband as it was my birthday and our anniversary. I requested this long before our arrival date and prior to it. But never got answered on the request.

If you need to get in touch with the host, forget about it. Out experience stated in the wrong foot from the first moment when we had to go to a different location to pick up the key that he left in a lockbox. When we got there, the key was missing and the host non responsive. Took quite a while for someone at the house to open the door and to figure out where the key was. When we finally made it to the apartment, there was no internet because the host did not pay the bill. Being international, internet is important. When I texted him to let him know about it, he never replied to me. Next day I texted him again, no response. Later that night I get a message to try to connect to the neighbors WiFi, which it didn’t work. Needless to say I never heard from him for the rest of the stay. I’ve never dealt with such lack of professionalism when it comes to a host. If I know he’s not providing with the bare minimum of the listed facilities, I wouldn’t have not booked this place to begin with. Just look for some other place around, there’s plenty!

The best sea views in Blouberg. Only 50 metres from the beach. The apartment is spacious , clean and modern with all amenities.
