The cottages are situated in a beautiful little valley in the middle of Pear plantations. There is ample room for kids to play outside and a kids play area. This place must be wonderful in the summertime. It is a short drive away from Hermanus/Kleinmond and to some beautiful (little known) wine farms.

This place must be wonderful in the summertime. However in the winter, travellers must really pass on it: These cottages are definitely not suitable for the cold days. The cottages are somewhat old and basic but present a decent value for money.

Location of the property is beautiful. House was fair. But, in our opinion overpriced for what we got.

No hot water in the bathroom on the first day and night. We had to ask for a bucket, so we could get hot water from the kitchen to fill the bath. This hot water supply was also not very consistent. After the geyser was attended to on the second day by Frankie, the maintenance man , the bathroom water was better than before, in terms of temperature. But, the water was brown, and it took almost 20 minutes to have enough water in the bath to bathe in. The door handles were missing quite a few screws. So, it was not easy to close and open the doors - bedroom and front door. Info sheet had emergency phone number, which we tried a few times, and even left voicemail. But, no one answered or called back. Property needs maintenance. Photos can be provided.

We saw the other comments. You need to amend. Country living is not equal to dirty living. We are from the country side wanting a break away. Sies!!!
