EVERYTHING, IT WAS HOT AND THE APARTMENT DID NOT EVEN HAVE A FAN. THE BRAAI STAND PROVIDED WAS SO DIRTY. WE COULDN'T WAIT TO CHECK OUT OF THE PLACE. WE SLEPT WITHOUT THE DUVETS ON AS THEY WERE VERY DOGGY. THE SHOWER IS SO SMALL YOU FEEL SQUASHED UP IN IT. THIS WAS OUR WORST ACCOMMODATION FOR OUR TWO WEEK CAPE TRIP AND WE DO NOT FORESEE VISITING PORT ALFRED AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS ACCOMMODATION.

The location was okay, but that's about it.

After driving very far, for more than 700 km and looking forward to a comfortable overnight stay, I was extremely disappointed with our recent stay. My family and I booked an overnight stay, expecting a comfortable and relaxing experience. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met. We wanted to leave as soon as ee hot there but all neighbouring places were fully booked. The rooms were not well-maintained, for e.g. unpleasant odour in the entire unit, dirty couch, and one that has seen better days. The unit needs a serious upgrade, and curtains in rooms were not neatly hung and very dirty. Really not up to standard and poor quality bedding. Linen was terrible and stained. No extra linen was provided, and no bathroom soap. Towels and bed linen had a moldy smell. We literally had to cover the pillows with our our towels. Pots and pans are old . Kitchen utensils, appliances, crockery and cutlery needs serious attention. When we tried to contact the host about our concerns, both her contact numbers were off. It was not a great experience at all. Bathroom/ toilet and kitchen need an upgrade, showers are not cleaned properly. Our hard earned money we paid was not worth it at all. Overall, our stay was a disaster, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone right now. It's very clear that unit needs to step up its game. Rating: 1/5 stars.

Great location

Very small unit for a family. No fan nor aircon makes it uncomfortable in humid hot conditions. No real sea view and outside furniture very old and dated. Cigarette buds on the floor outside. Owner not very accommodating and communication was not great. Actually checked out in the same hour as we check in and booked elsewhere

Everything we needed was available, kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery (top quality), etc Bathroom has everything which is not usual. It is also spacious. I have never seen such a well prepared holiday apartment. Blankets are enough, TV has all the channels, the kitchen is like your own. I was very impressed.
