The Stoke House

We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. The location is fantastic – close to everything, and we could easily walk to the shops, cafes, and local attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. As a bonus, we even received a free drink voucher for the local brewery in town, which was such a nice touch! Overall, a great experience and we would definitely come back.

there really was nothing I did not like

The location was perfect, so was view of the mountains. The restaurants are a walking distance. This says a lot about the safety of the town as most people walked day and night to the centre of town. The property owner, Lindsey, provided us with information we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We would definitely come back.

The fact that there is only one lounge chair in the room. Most people travel as couple.

The Stoke House treated us well. The place has a rustic modern open plan feel and was sparkling clean. The house is walking distance to the main town square. We enjoyed a braai on the stoep every night with a view of the poplar trees, lawn and mountains and our dogs running around. Will definitely visit again.

Nothing we didn't like. If I had to mention something I would say to inform visitors that other units could also bring pets along.

Exceptionally clean, super comfy and had all the necessary amenities for our stay.

No shower door, bathroom floor slippery and wet. Located on the main thorough fair road,and can be a bit noisy at night.

The road bordering the property was a little noisy at times. We would have appreciated more tea & sugar options, but our host kindly delivered when we requested this.

The unit was clean and close to the town.

No comfortable seating inside the unit, Evenings are cool to sit outside.
