Landor Stud Farm Cottage

The cottage had all the amenities you'd need for a self catering farm stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linen soft and blankets cosy. There was an alarm and beams outside so it helped me feel safe. The owners, Herman and Karen, and manager, Danica, were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely return.

The instructions were very clearly communicated over whatsapp. The timing of communication was excellent. Friendly couple.

Beautiful and serene

The bathroom sink. The taps are to low making the basin almost impossible to use effectively.

Beautiful scenic mountains. Peaceful and serene. Safe and secure. Lovely to see farm animals like cows, horses and sheep. Well equipped with clean towels, linen and blankets. Plenty couches to sit on for family of 3.

-the sink was clogged and too high to the tap making it difficult and unhygienic to use. We had to use the shower -shower is not tiled at the bottom, it's just cement and was very slippery when using soap or body wash. Needs to be tiled as could be dangerous to slip and fall. -whilst we appreciate the go green living, guests need hot water. Water takes too long to heat up by 10am. We had to boil water on the stove because it was a chilly autumn season. This was inconvenient. Geyser meant for 1 person, that too it was a 10 minute shower and geyser gets cold. Very unhappy and uncomfortable. -bathroom door very dangerous on only one rail. It fell twice and luckily we never get hurt -floors not tiled but cemented, can put more rugs or mats as it's cold -Needed a grater for cheese, as it self catering -bring more two pin adapters -Rats droppings or poo under the beds -only one plate of the gas stove was working -far to travel out to scenic attractions or activities Lovely little house to yourself and definitely can be upgraded in many ways to make guests comfortable especially about the constant cold water.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the quiet and fresh air made for a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

The cottage is well equipped and spacious. Wifi strong and the the walkin wardrobe was a bonus.
