A Beach Condo

The owner was excellent, called to check our arrival. Met us to hand over the key. Very friendly. It was a self catering apartment . I liked that it was nearer to uMlazi since we came for a funeral.

Plumbing work need to be looked into, bathroom flooded with shower water. It can do with some bright fresh paint and new clean furniture especially the dinning room chairs. Need to strongly fumigate the place especially the kitchen, was not comfortable to cook in the kitchen. Would not book it for a holiday.

It is near the beach

It didn't have a balcony with a sea view

Not Providing towels every day, toilet paper,, enough dish wash

No aircon

Dirty bedrooms

The location was near the beach and other amenities.

The condo had plenty of streaming to choose from, including Netflix and a walking distance to the beach and very clean and spacious,, .plus the host was sweet and friendly

The downside was for not providing extra sheets as it's not healthy using the same sheet for the entire week, And putting bed side lamps would make a big difference in improving the place standard

We liked the view. However, my dad was unable to even see it. He is in a wheelchair and couldn't get on to the tiny little balcony, get out of wheelchair and peek around the corner to see the view.

The apartment definitely needs a deep clean and revamp. There's a muffy/mouldy smell in the cupboards and in apartment. The linen/extra blankets in the cupboards had a weird cigarette, mouldy smell as well. The white walls need to be painted or washed. The bathroom and bedroom handles need to be cleaned. Both beds need headboards. The bathroom is not wheelchair friendly, it's very small. Put aircon or fans in both rooms and living room. There's one fan in one of the rooms. Durban weather has no chill. There's no ventilation/window in the first bedroom and the door is broken.
