Very convinient, i would stay here again.

It was quiet and relaxing. The place was spacious.

It lacked amenities to enjoy on-site. Would have liked a mirror in the bedroom.

The place was beautiful and we liked vintage style and the pool was everything we enjoyed the view

We loved everything about this place, from the Host Mike who we met the day we booked in was just sooo welcoming, to the breathtaking views and not forgetting the delicious food. Thank you Mike for an awesome weekend, will definitely recommend your place to friends n family.

The owner of that facility was always defencive when you complain about almost everything. You get to the facility you get greeted by a snake... and he tells you this is south africa, there are snakes everywhere and want you to understand that there's nothing he can do... There are snake repellent, not everyone like snakes, some of us have fobia of snakes and if you know snakes are roaming around your facility, you need to let people know so they don't make reservations in your place. The building is indeed dilapidated, the kitchen zink is blocked and he cares not, he tells you that's how plumbing works... Showers are not even working properly... There's a whole lot of squatter camp shacks surrounding the house you booked... Not sure if is where his staff stays or what, but yho..., the grass around the house is longer than your height is not even cut... No security at all... You enter at the gate and one can do as they please because there is no security at all, safety is a concern. The whole house has cockroaches... Nothing looks like what is mentioned on booking dot Com in this facility... Would never recommend anyone go there at all, waste of hard earned money... The owner has no best interest of his visitors I guess, he only care about what he get in his pocket... Money... I wish the authorities would go and inspect this facility, it would close down within a blink of an eye. When you step out of the house, you see there an extension of a house going up to the first floor, you ask yourself if that was indeed approved... A health Hazzard and very dangerous coz it can fall at anytime, but believe me, there are people living in that unsafe upper room. There are spiderworms almost every corner in the rooms, and yet he tells you he has professional cleaners, there's no way the room is not clean, I wonder if he do really inspect his facility... The reviews in this facility are not a true reflection...

Location is beautiful with a fantastic view of the dam, its very hidden away itself. its pretty and feels homely - the unusual old buildings have a real charm and the quirkiness f the overall property felt very whimsical. definitely would be a great place to crack a bottle of wine and paint to your hearts content and then fall into your bed! The spot also has 3 charming dogs to show you around and keep you entertained. the lounge was very comfy and the tv had a ton of options for you to watch, internet is stable but i recommend chilling on the patio with a book and some tea. I would stay again!

There's a few small things that can be improved to make this place perfect - ensuring the kitchen has pans you can fry a large breakfast in (there were only pots or woks) and a stovetop with all the plates available, - one of the nobs were missing. A less fiddly door lock will make coming and going easier and the ceilings can use a bit of a touch up too as the building is old.
