"Great location and home away from home experience."

We enjoyed the views and liked that the property was clean. Even though it was just the 2 of us, we thoroughly enjoyed that it was spacious — accommodates 4 people very well.

There were no wine and champagne glasses.

"Unique and very relaxing stay"

Beautiful, well appointed property. Stunning 180 degree views of the Vaal River and a unique experience staying on a boat. Petra is a wonderful, friendly host who checked in on us with delicious treats on Christmas morning. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

House of Bell was perfectly located for our needs and we did not want for anything. Tasteful decor and comfortable beds, with modern bathrooms and kitchen. We felt safe and secure and loved being right on the water!

The setting is stunning - on the water with huge expanses of water and on land - huge lawns! Really beautiful and tranquil!

When it is windy, the house bobs alot - leaving a feeling of vertigo. That can't be changed though - so just to realise that you are booking a house boat which moves.

"A perfect escape from the city life."

The place is cozy, with good build quality and classy finishes. The whole picture blows you away as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is surreal, and the house design perfectly complements it, offering scenic sunsets and sunrises. It's perfect for a weekend getaway from Joburg, with plenty of activities in the area. While Uber can be tricky for local transits, the landlord is super helpful with any contacts you may need during your stay. Well worth it!

Beautiful location beautiful boathouse.. Friendly host some nice touches added to the house

Aircons didn't warm up much The solar box makes alot of noise throughout the day and night There was no water in taps then at one stage had some water but no hot water to shower or bath at all ... If the water came out it wasn't clean alot of green slimes came out of the taps and also blocked the taps aswell Biggest issue was having almost no water and had to boil water to try have some kind of wash down
