Was 100% value for money, views was amazing and the accomodation way bigger then the photo's

The stove kept tripping.

The place needs quite a bit of TLC and some of the furniture is just not practical, e.g. the chairs at the counter. As a result, there is no place to dine or do some writing. The shower door does not close and maneuvering the shower process to limit the water spill take some doing. Saying this, the relaxing sound of the Sabie river and the close proximity of the Sabie Falls with the peaceful cattle grazing on the opposite river bank, make up for little inconveniences. Lovely restaurants in town and a fantastic BIG bookshop.

Host met us at the gate and took us to the room

it was clean the beds were comfortable the owner was nice.

very dated needs painting bathrooms very scruffy the nice bedroom was kept locked we could see it from the terrace. Only open view TV no covered parking the gate failed so we had to hand open it and close it Muddy driveway entrance road full of potholes, Sabie is very run down now, no money has been spent there so won't come again

The view is very pleasant with the river on your doorstep.

We were met by the cleaning lady who showed us the house and handed over the keys. We did not see or meet the host once during our stay. We arrived after 3PM and she was still busy cleaning. The furniture is very outdated and the house had an unpleasant (mouldy) smell.
