Location and layout

I liked the location and proximity to everything convenient; the check in process though I struggled a bit, the security and the host were great about helping me; the quick and clear response from the host. The apartment has nice floors, as well as great water pressure and heating. The beds are very comfortable, I slept like a rock. The blinds and patio area are nice too. The access to streaming services is also ingenious and incredibly convenient.

The couches in the living room were a downer for us. They're worn out, they're a long way down and just plain uncomfortable. They give back pain for aesthetics.

Amazing views, exceptionally clean, well thought out property with everything needed.

Could use a bin in the bathrooms and main bedroom. More towels and toilet paper would be useful for a 7 night stay

I recently stayed at Vor La Mer in Bloubergstrand. Overall, my experience was good. The apartment was very cold, with no carpets and only laminated floors, which made it quite chilly without any underfloor heating. On the positive side, the apartment was well-equipped, although it lacked a dishwasher and a washer/dryer, which would have been convenient. A nice touch was the complimentary bottle of wine, which I really appreciated. In summary, while there were some drawbacks, there were also some thoughtful touches that made the stay pleasant and the view of Table Mountain and the ocean is to die for.

It was REALLY cold. And with only one oil heater, it was a bit of a challenge but there was enough bedding.
