Luz is a beautiful small unspoilt, friendly village. The Baia da Luz is an exceptional resort - immaculately clean and beautifully presented with friendly, helpful reception staff. The apartment was very well designed, spacious and very clean on arrival.

The bed linen and pillows are of poor quality. Only one small and one medium poor quality towels are provided per person for a week's stay. The apartment was not cleaned or the bed linen changed during the stay. Three of the four lights in the kitchen/ utility area were broken or missing. Just a bottle of water would have been welcome on arrival.
