"It was a lovely weekend"

Nice place - on the edge of the dam, nice venue, very peaceful and quiet. It all the basic kitchen utensils and appliances. And light bulbs that help - when its loadshedding. Will be back.

"Stunning place in the outside world"

It's a fantastic place, far from the busy world, views are stunning. Owners are really nice and helpful. Good spot for tracking through Highmoor and Kamberg. The house is well equipped, especially the lounge sofas are nice.

Beware during winter-time it get's below zero. There's no heating (enough blankets and crouches though), but there's a fireplace. Don't forget to bring your own wood. And beware driving a (lower) luxury car: roads are (really) bad and the last km is gonna be a tough one...

"Amazing"

The location is perfect with the most breathtaking views. The house was spacious and even though it is winter the facility had provided things like gas heater, electric blanket and hot water bottles and it was very warm. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, Susan and her daughter are just heavenly sent. The made my 30th birthday a very special one.

We loved everything.

"Memorable stay with amazing hosts."

The hosts, Theresa and her Mom and Dad, were awesome and VERY hospitable. It snowed on the berg for part of our stay and they ensured we had enough blankets and even provided hot water bottles and a gas heater to ensure we kept warm. That was very considerate and kind.

Unfortunately there was an electrical fault (The transformer connected to the property apparently blew up) and that meant we spent 2 nights without electricity for our 3 night stay. That was a bit of an inconvenience, but was totally not the fault of the hosts so we understood. We got a complimentary warm meal voucher from the host (Theresa) to use at nearby restaurant and that was very heartwarming because we didn't have electricity to cook, so the host took it upon herself to go the extra mile in that way.
