Maison d'hôte sirwaji

We arrived late without reservation in advance. The owner was very kind. The room was nice and the whole place was very authentic. Breakfast was included in price and very good. Interesting place.

Very friendly and helpful host. Generous breakfast portions. Beautiful location right in the Ksar. Very quiet, calm, and spacious facility.

Needs air conditioning.

So special! It is in the old(!!) town which is abandoned. The staff and the people around was really friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and dinner! GREAT and authentic experience!

A bit hot at night

People are very nice and very quite

it’s tucked away at the edge of the 700-year old Ksar and well appointed. Hassan is a superb and kind host and was extremely helpful. Despite the lack of a common language, we had great conversations using Translator! It was Ramadan and Hassan very kindly shared his evening meal with me. Hassan took me round the old Ksar, which is huge and was a very important town in the 1400’s

there is no air conditioning, so beware in very hot weather. there’s no Wi-Fi, but Hassan linked my mobile to his so I could share his connection. A gentleman.

This was the best of many great stays in Morocco. Maison d’Hote Sirwaji is a small eco-hotel set in the old town of Assa. It is beautifully set-up. Four separate rooms – all ensuite. Three around a small courtyard. One on the roof terrace. My room faced the courtyard. It had a large and very comfortable bed, a well-designed bathroom (with plenty of hot water) and an area to sit directly outside. (The booking.com description is a bit confusing. It is four ensuite bedrooms rather than a large apartment.) Hussain looked after the hotel – made an outstanding breakfast and I think was available to cook dinner if needed. Assa the town was a delight. Friendly and helpful people. An old town to explore, walks in the oasis, or out in the desert, carvings and more. And few tourists. A great place to go. Nice cosy ensuite double

Brahim is a very nice host who welcome me with special Whisky du Sahara. (tea) The traditional house is fully constructed with adobe. It is situated 1 km outside of Assa town near the ruins of the old castle and next to the beautiful palmgarden. It is a very peacefull environment. The breakfast was excellent. In the evening I had tea with Brahim and his friends
