The location is good, everything is in walk distance. The apartment is clean.

Reading previous reviews of this place I was excited to arrive and meet our host. On the profile of the apartment it reads that he speaks English, very kind and caring. Well it's not exactly true, as he does not speak English at all and for some reason we didn't get those small treats like cookies and stuff that every other people writes about. Our booking said that the price includes a bottle of wine too, (it is written in bold letters so it should be true I guess) well it was nowhere to be found either. The bed is way overused, squeaky and old, you can feel the deep craters under yourself in the mattress, the pillows are also hard and lumpy. The apartment is not soundproof at all, even if you close the window you can hear the street and every neighbour crystal clearly. The apartment is on the first floor so you can hear the huge, iron main entrance door banging in every 30 minutes, all night long. There is no drying rack, which could be useful if you plan to swim in the sea. The bathroom need a serious renovation, it's moldy and the plaster is falling from the ceiling. The shower was ridiculously uncomfortable.

The flat baricarulli52 has a central location. It is at a walking distance from the Railway Station (Stazione Centrale), from the Bus Station (Terminal Bus), from the Old Town of Bari, from the sea front. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The flat itself is very comfortable. It has all modern conveniences and electric appliances you can imagine - big refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, TV, AC. Our host Riccardo has provided cutlery, dishes, plates, cups, glasses, coffee, tea. We really felt like home. The rooms and the bathroom are impeccably clean. It was a pleasure to return in such a cosy and quiet place. Riccardo is kind, friendly, helpful and punctual. He carried our 2 suitcases to the flat at our arrival and helped us with the luggage at departure. He called a taxi for us to the Railway Station. Thank you, Riccardo, for your kindness! I can't recommend highly enough the flat baricarulli52 to anyone travelling to Bari!

I have no negative comments. Everything was fine with our accomodation in the flat baricarulli52 in Bari.
