Appartamento Aurora

The apartment was spacious. The AC was very good and the apartment was always cool. The washing machine was very useful to have. Spacious shower cubicle and good sized bathroom. You get a welcome pack with bin bags, sponge, washing up liquid etc which was very handy. There’s a good sized fridge / freezer

Although surface clean, the apartment and balconies could have done with a deep clean. The dishwasher was disgusting, leftover food and flies inside. We just didn’t open it again during our stay. The bed was uncomfortable. You do have to clear all rubbish etc out the apartment before you leave (which I don’t mind but a pre warning on the booking might be an idea so people are aware as it’s a €25 fee if not) I would agree with previous reviews that as a female I would not have felt safe on the streets alone at night so maybe a no if you’re a solo traveller.

It was really close to the central train station and to the city center. We were able to cook in the kitchen, and the AC worked great too.

What we didn't like was the awful musty/moldy smell. It was really strong...Our pillows had food stains too. Also the pictures are taken of 2 separate apartments, we got the less nice one, but at least there should be a choice which one you want. Or advertise it as two separate apartments. I'm happy we only came to stay 2 nights and not more.

The apartment is great!

Hosts let us check in early, large apartment, close to both the train station & town which suited us.

There was mold on the walls both in the kitchen, bathroom, above the beds & in the cupboards. Even the chairs look like they had mold on them. Smell of damp & mold out of the kitchen so the door was constantly open. One of the main reasons we booked was to have a balcony but it was absolutely covered in bird faeces, totally disgusting. The area wasn't great but convenient nonetheless. We stayed in four other places during our trip, all at a similar price point & this was a total dive.

The property was Clean, in the city centre so could walk everywhere. It had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable! Over all it was a 10/10

The location is great. Close to the center and the train station.

During our stay, the toilet tank was constantly leaking, which was not exactly the best sound that you constantly hear. There were also cracks on the bed that we had to repair.

Very close to the city centre, from the airport you can take the train to get there (stop at Bari Centrale or Quintino Sella station). Cosy and well equipped appartment, clean and modern furniture. We got the keys from a key box, didn’t met the owner. You can pay by card for the accomodation. Overall if you want to discover Bari you can easily walk to the city centre to see the main attractions. Really nice city! 😊☀️

Street is a bit noisy so if you don’t like traffic it can be disturbing. So many cars and motorcycles all around the city. It is really Italian 😁🇮🇹
