Excellent apartment at a convenient location. Helpful and friendly owner who is doing everything to make the stay as good as possible. Quiet area in walking distance to the old town (around 20 minutes).

Whilst the location of the property was a nice neighbourhood & the apartment itself was decent, our experience with the management of the property let it down & we advise you to avoid this property

There were a number of issues we had with our stay - We arrived to a room that had not been cleaned, the previous occupants sheets were in a pile on the floor & the bed had not been made. When contacting the management we were told to leave for 1 hour & a cleaner would come- we returned & the apartment had still not been cleaned. A cleaner then arrived 30 mins later but asked us to leave again, so we didn’t end up getting into the property until 19.30 after a long day of travelling. - The hot water is limited, there was one day where it ran out by 2pm & didn’t get more until the morning. When we contacted management about this it took over 24 hours for a response & we were told to be ‘economical’ with the water. We stayed in the summer when it was hot & we were swimming in the Aare, so you would expect to be able to shower at the end of the day, especially given the price. -The sheet that was provided was a single duvet cover (without duvet) - The listing says there is a washing machine but this is not true, there is a washing machine in the building but you have to pay for it & it has complex rules that are not explained well. We ended up having to use a local laundrette. - It is not made explicitly clear prior to booking that an additional 500 Chf are required to be taken ‘as deposit’ and that this is handled outside of booking.com, by the time you are made aware of this the booking is already non refundable so you are unable to cancel and find an alternative. It also meant that when we ran into the above issues we felt we were unable to complain about anything incase our ‘deposit’ was then withheld. This was the worst accommodation of all the places we stayed whilst visiting Switzerland and yet was the only one that required a deposit. This felt like a scam and made us feel uncomfortable, I would recommend management remove this requirement as it’s unnecessary.

Duş kabini yetersizdi ve sıcak su yoktu defalarca sıcak suyu söylememize rağmen akşamları sadece 1 kişi yıkanabiliyordu ve biz 3 kişiydik, ayrıca eve girdiğimiz ilk günde havlular ve çarşaflar ıslak bir şekilde ve atılı bir şekilde yarısı yerde yarısı bir sandalyenin üzerinde duruyordu. Yatakta eskiden kalma şiltenin üzerine serilen örtüde iğrenç lekeler vardı ve mecburen onu şiltenin üzerinden çıkarmak zorunda kaldık en üzücü şeylerden biride ev sahibinin onun üzerini bizim kirlettiğimizi düşünüp bizden temizlik parasını kesmiş olmasıydı. Bizi en çok etkileyen ev sahibinin bizi haksızlığa uğratması olmuştu, yapmadığımız şeyleri yapmışız gibi asılsız iddada bulunması gerçekten bizi derinden üzdü. Manevi olarak ve pisikolojik olarak resmen bize travma yaşattı. Haksızlığa uğramak gerçekten berbat bir durum. Ev sahibi hem evini müşterilerine pis ve bozuk eşya ile kiralıyor hemde dönüp bunların parasını yine müşteriden haksız bir şekilde alıyor bu kabul edilebilir bir durum değil. Düşün yatak çarşaflarını bize 3 ayda bir temizlediğini kendisi yazdı ve sanki her gün temizlenirmiş gibi bununla övündü.

The apartment itself was clean and generally well-kept.

The check-in process was incredibly frustrating and disorganized. I was sent a link to pay a 500 CHF deposit that didn’t work for me, especially as I had no mobile internet while traveling. The check-in code provided via Booking.com didn’t open the key box, and instead there was a loose key left in a mailbox that didn’t match any door. When I finally reached the owner by phone, I was given a different code—but even then, the key inside was for another apartment. We were eventually told to just try the random key on a door labeled with a name, which turned out to be another holiday apartment. No written confirmation was ever given that this change was intentional or approved. All communication through Booking.com was automated and unhelpful. On top of that, we were asked to buy our own garbage replacement bags for a two day stay, and only a single blanket was provided for a double bedroom. The lack of clarity, poor communication, and messy check-in process made the experience much more stressful than it should have been.

Nice quiet neighborhood, easy to take transit to different parts of the city and the space and kitchen work well.

Bed is a bit hard and uncomfortable.

A very nice and clean apartmwnt in a very calm and peaceful neighborhood. Bus #20 that stops across the street takes you to the main rail station wirhin 10 min if you want to travel to other swiss cities, and the station is also 10 min from the old town of beautuful Bern. The host, Alex, was very responsive to messages and welcoming. Amazing roses in a small garden in front of your window will be a nice bonus to your trip! ❤️❤️

The apartment is absolutely contactless, not only contactless checked in. We stayed for 7 nights. The room is very cold. There is heater and TV in the room but both the heater and TV did not work. It terrible cold in the room. They leave us only one small blanket for 2 persons. We contacted the staff of the apartment to fix the problem, but no response. We contact them again on the next day but still no response. The staff should examined that everything is complete before renting. The contact info of the apartment is useless as they do not read or reply. Disappoint for staying in this apartment.

Well located accommodation, 5 minutes by bus to the centre of Bern, quiet neighbourhood, rooms are nice and comfortable as they look in the pictures.

We thank Alix for his patience. Laundry was good. German instructions were meaningless to us. Had to wash plates and cutlery to remove food remnants. Single filthy tea towel useless. A clean second tea towel would have solved problem. Microwave found with food remnants. Had to carefully clean it before use. Lack of local rules for garbage removal took days to work out. Under sink garbage very full of eggshells, banana skins and other vegetable scraps hidden under papers hence smelly kitchen until slowly removed
