Everything, the owner is a true wonder

If you are driving a car [why would you do that here?] You will find this place hard to get to. But once here, the location is a short walk from the main tourist areas. Reception speak very good English and are helpful booking restaurants. Breakfast above average

l’accueil très professionnel et chaleureux, l’endroit atypique ( ancienne église) convivialité du personnel qui fait tout pour vous être agréable

je n’ai pas trouvé la chambre hyper propre, un grand tapis au sol avec des taches… et on nous a fait croire qu’on était surclassé dans une super chambre avec bain à remous mais au final elle était tout au bout d’un couloir peu lumineuse usé et la fenêtre donnait sur une cour intérieure sombre avec vue sur tous les écoulements. j’aurai juste aimé qu’on ne me fasse pas croire à un surclassement.

Our stay at Porta di Castro was truly unforgettable. The hotel itself is unlike anywhere we’ve ever stayed, steeped in history and beautifully set within what was once a 10th-century church. You can feel that sense of heritage throughout, yet it’s paired with warmth and comfort that instantly makes you feel at home. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Maurizio kindly picked us up from the airport and shared fascinating insights into the island’s history and culture along the way, which set the tone perfectly for our visit. The reception team were consistently welcoming, helpful, and full of fantastic recommendations for restaurants and cultural spots, all of which turned out to be spot on. A special mention to Alessandro and his team, who went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail really made a difference. Breakfast was another highlight, delicious, and seemingly never-ending! A perfect way to start each day. We would highly recommend Porta di Castro to anyone looking for a unique and genuinely special experience.

Zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, üppiges Morgenessen, in mitten vom Herz in Palermo! War eine grosser Erfahrung. Waren sehr hilfsbereit um das Auto zu parkieren, da verkehrstechnisch eine grosser Herausforderung - aber spannend.
