A Casa D'Amelie

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, viele Tipps. Appartement ist super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage ist perfekt, man braucht kein Auto. Die Terrasse ist schön, einzig die Baustelle daneben ist sehr störend.

- der Lärm von der Baustelle - das Bett oben ist für mich nicht bequem gewesen, viel zu hart.

En bas c’est un restaurent, pas de tout repos, le matelas laisse à désiré.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten in der Altstadt von Porto. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Lovely apartment in Faro´s old town centre with a balcony. Laetitia is an excellent host. Helped us out getting there. Checked later if we needed anything. Everything very nicely furnished and clean. Complimentry bottle of water, bottle of wine, pastries and a big bowel of fruit. Kitchen with all amenities. Information folder with suggestions for the area. We would come back anytime.

Lots of stairs but well worth the effort. Construction work going on next door. Couldn´t enjoy the balcony till later in the evening. Though builders didn´t start too early. And they will be finished in the future.

The location is very convenient - all pickup points for excursions were within short walking distance (some like 3 minutes away, nothing further than 20 minutes). There are also lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Faro has a lot to offer, close by is a national park area, the Ria Formosa, with several islands and there are lots of interesting tours (e.g. dolphin watching, bird watching and island hopping) that are very worthwhile to do. The spacious apartment with its own internal terrace/balcony is furnished in a nice and comforting style, all is functional, there is enough space to store everything for a week for two people. The two air-conditioners work well (a necessity in a season where the outside temperature can easily reach between 30 and 40 degrees centigrade). Our host Laetitia and her mother were super nice and friendly, we felt they care for us to have a good time. We also very much liked the massive fruit bowl and the wine/port for us to enjoy. There's not much you can/could improve - the bed is at the highest point in the apartment, heat accumulates there, so you need to make sure you turn on the fan to draw some cold air to this part of the room (I turned the fan around so it pulls cold air from below and pushes out warm air towards the air-condition). For a longer stay than 8-10 days maybe a second wardrobe would be nice to have. Not a big issue though, there is a lot of room in the living room and bathroom to store additional stuff if you need to, and you can also hand-wash, dry and iron in the apartment. There are also cleaning products in a cupboard, I very much like to be able to clean something if necessary. Not a critique but a reminder: The apartment is very cleverly designed (I took a lot of good ideas from this stay), but you do need to be comfortable using stairs (not only to the first floor, but also inside the apartment, to get to the living room level and upstairs to the bed).

The apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the old town. The owner was so helpful regarding our checkin time & the little extras of wine, fruit and pastel de nata were very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to book again.

Die Unterkunft ist ein bisschen hellhörig.

Pasamos solo tres días en Faro y nos hubiéramos quedado más, no solo para conocer más la ciudad y la fabulosa playa de Isla deserta sino también para disfrutar del cómodo y bonito apartamento d'Amelie. Laetitia y su madre nos entregaron las llaves y estuvieron siempre disponibles para cualquier contratiempo, consejos y recomendaciones sobre la ciudad... y nos dejaron un regalo de bienvenida. El apartamento, una antigua casa reformada, estaba tan limpio y tan nuevo que parecía que lo estuviésemos estrenando nosotros. Un 10 sobre 10!

Все було неймовірно. Хазяйка зустріла мене та розповіла про все. Дуже щира та чуйна людина. Велике їй дякую. Особливо було приймо що вана залишила мені комплімент у вигляді пляшки вина,тарілки фруктів та випічка до чаю. Вона навіть поппіклувалась про мій відпочинок на пляжі і дала мені пляжне полотєнце та сумку і також там є пляжі зонтики щоб такі як я могли ним скористатись. Місце просто супер. Я могла добратись всюди пішки. Дуже чисто та комфортно було в квартирі. 100% варто повернутись в чудове місце.
