A Casa D'Amelie

Eravamo in 4 e l’appartamento si è rivelato perfetto: bellissimo, esattamente come nelle foto, curato nei minimi dettagli e dotato di ogni comfort. La posizione è ottima, in pieno centro circondato da locali e ristoranti, ma all’interno regna la tranquillità, non si sente alcun rumore. L’host è una persona eccezionale, molto attenta agli ospiti: al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare vino, dolcetti di benvenuto e frutta fresca, oltre a mettere a disposizione gli ombrelloni per il mare. Inoltre ci ha lasciato un foglio con tanti consigli utili su dove mangiare, le spiagge più belle da visitare e le cose da fare nei dintorni. Un soggiorno indimenticabile che consigliamo vivamente!

Le logement est très bien placé, l'appartement était très propre et très mignon. Nous avons passé un super séjour, Laetitia a été adorable, et nous a donné de bons conseils pour visiter Faro et ses environs.

Fantastic host! The place was really clean and homey.

It was a good location but the music early in the morning was a bit of a bother, also the sounds coming from the upstairs neighbours was a bit loud.

The nice clean modern look. Very central to all the local restaurants and shops. Very quiet Good A/C. Nice touch in providing fruit, water, and a nice bottle of wine.

There was nothing that we disliked about the property. The one very little item I would say that maybe a full size long mirror

Very spacious well appointed apartment in a great location. Comfortable bed, and having a second bathroom was a bonus. Great hosts, safe location and easy check in.

Being on a busy pedestrian street meant hearing noise from restaurants (and an accordion playing street performer). But closing the windows helped with quiet.

The apartment was nicely decorated and was spacious. It had many items needed.

The property has several stairs from the entrance and then some more inside the apartment itself. When we complained about this to the property owner as we had heavy luggage the property owner didn’t take the negative feedback well and threatened to kick us out to find “a better place” (it was 10pm at night) and we informed her that we had a long exhausting journey. She then threatened to call the police to force us to leave (all we did was comment on the stairs situation). After some thought she let us stay however we felt unsafe and uncomfortable the whole time wondering when is she going to evict us. The property also had other issues: - ant problem in the kitchen, it was a serious insect issue. - the bedroom mezzanine had more stairs and only a glass facing the bed, it appeared dangerous if someone wasn’t careful and in a case of a fire there was only one exit. The only saving grace was that the mother of the property owner was polite and helped us with her husband with our luggage upon leaving. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are someone who’s vocal about things that upset you in a property, have mobility issues or have heavy luggage.
