The Annexe @ Woodland

This is a small bedroom-sitting room-bathroom attached to a house, with a beatiful garden in front of it. The kitchen is well equipped, and self-catering is perfectly possible. A farm shop nearby (Charlie's) offers fresh produce sourced locally, mostly. The sitting room has a sofa ending on a chaise longue, as well as a high table with high chairs serving as dining table. The modern decoration fits well together. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, as well as an oven, a separate grill and a cooker. A dishwasher and a washing machine complete it. The house is quiet, and the countryside around invites you for a stroll. The small village nearby (Bury) is charming. The hosts had given clear directions, and our stay went smoothly. The bedroom is comfy, with a big bed and a second TV, as well as a small desk.

We were walking, and the approach to the house ftom Bury via a busy road is not enjoyable. There is a path on the pavement almost to the house itself, but it sometimes is next to the road. Then you have to cross the road near/at the curve. Eventually you figure out the best spot to cross from, each way. It can certainly be done with some patience. For anyone coming by car this is not an issue.

A pretty, modern and fully equipped Annexe. Everything you need provided. Great wifi connection Netflix etc. Clean and spacious. Safe parking in a beautiful location.

I loved it.

The property is spacious, yet cosy self-contained accommodation. It was clean and very well presented. The bed was luxurious. The host was friendly and responsive. The instructions for finding the property and check-in were very clear and easy to follow. I was in the area for a wedding, but I could imagine the location is also very good for taking in the South Downs and hiking.

Nothing not to like.

Property was convenient, quiet, and had everything needed. I booked it at short notice and Nick was super helpful, recommended a place for me to stop and eat before arriving. I’ve saved this for my own future reference

The house was simply beautiful: spacious, clean, and incredibly welcoming. Every detail seemed lovingly cared for, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing, making you feel at home right away. The garden was a real gem, well-maintained and perfect for relaxing outdoors. The owners were exceptional people, always available and welcoming, making us feel like honored guests from the very first moment. Truly a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone!

The only small downside is that it's a bit difficult to reach if you don't have your own car. It's not far from the train station, but the local bus service in the village is quite poor.

Very friendly hosts who went out for their way to help us by picking us up from a nearby pub. The annex was well supplied with all necessities. Very happy with our stay.

Nothing, all was great.

The bathroom was badly designed water everywhere NO rails to hang towels These was no dishwasher tablets No broom to sweep floor No Iron AND BEWARE OF 2 DOGS 🐕 WHICH WOULDNT GUARANTEE WOULD JUMP ON YOU.. NO IMPRESSED I HATE DOGS When asked more Towels owner had gone Fishing & was NOT AVAILABLE . Poor Service Not IMPRESSED Won't recommend this place
