The Annexe @ Woodland

Warm welcome, lovely hosts

Some trouble with a capricious shower but all got sorted out very quickly. Some noise from the A29.

Annex was clean, comfortable, private, and the hosts, Nick & Karrie were excellent.  I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Nothing. It was all good. 

We had a couple of beers in fridge and some breakfast too which was a nice touch. Carrie and Nick were very accommodating and friendly. They had some lovely dogs too.

Beautiful village and the Annexe is close (10 mins walk) to a well stocked farm shop (Charlie’s). The Annexe itself is a great space. Large living room kitchen with comfortable sofa, tastefully decorated bedroom with a super comfy bed, and a toilet/wet room which does all you need it to do! I stayed for 2 nights at the mid point of walking the South Downs Way and it was a great choice for resting and washing some clothes!

We really enjoyed our stay in the annexe - the hosts are absolutely lovely & the place itself is very well appointed with everything we needed. Good location for visiting a number of sites in the South Downs, would have been even better if there was a pub within walking distance but that’s obviously a minor point! Overall a delightful stay!

The check-in instructions could have been communicated to us prior to our arrival.

Location good, well equipped, very friendly host and family.

Bed a bit soft for my arthritic back and there was a "chugga chugga chugga" pump noise at night which was rather odd.

Nick and his family were very accommodating. They left lovely treats for my family such as wine, milk, snacks and coffee pods!

Despite our late booking and late arrival we were made to feel welcome and the host went out of his way to ensure we were settled.
