The building is beautiful and the apartment is quirky but functional. Good location, quiet and close to train station 10-15 min walk and same to Ferries.

There were a few things that I think would truly enhance this property as it has huge potential. Get rid of the TV under the stairs and place on wall where red picture is on kitchenette wall and place a luggage platform there. The TV remote had no batteries. The rug was very dirty on arrival and truly not necessary the tile floor is beautiful. No kitchen towels or cloths in kitchenette. No bowls, containers in kitchenette also we were there 4 nights and no one came in to take rubbish (4 adults) and no info as to where we could place it. Also four containers under sink but no instruction what each one is for?? None labelled or label illegible. The square (additional seats) are filthy and either need covers or replaced. There are dirty musty pillows in laundry room and the laundry room was untidy on arrival and has a smell but a great asset to the apartment. On arrival one stand up fan that is in the way where it is placed under stairs near TV - we contacted our contact and in fairness a fan was brought in for the mezzanine bedroom. The contact was great and very accommodating quick to answer any queries and very professional and although my statement may sound negative it is only constructive criticism as I would book here again it just needs a freshen up or a little more attention to detail. All of the above have been mentioned in other comments I just hope the owner/management team listen and make the necessary changes as people read reviews and base their decision on same.

Washroom

No air conditioning, very hot and smells

the location in the city center is good to move around, it has a nice court entrance, the window perfectly isolate from the street noises and warm temperature without having the AC

being at the basement and with one window, there's a constantly musty smell, the bathroom has a very noisy fan to extract the steam/humidity. The carpet and the couch have several stains. There is no coffee capsule machine.

The flat is perfectly located in the Center of Como in an impressive old Palazzo. The communication with the host was perfect, fast and really helpful.

Sadly the floor was not cleaned when we arrived and on the floor and stairs laid hair and dust. It was raining when we arrived and because the flat is a little bit deeper than the ground floor it was cold and smelled a little bit like cellar. But just as long it was raining, the next day weather was better and the flat more comfy.

Good location, TV works.

Very little space, no sunlight. The sofa is uncomfortable, poor sound insulation. There is no necessary means for accommodation
