Downtown Como

The hosts met us when we arrived, were very friendly and gave us lots of information about the apartment and the area. The apartment was spacious enough for two and had most facilities you'd expect. It was also very clean. The bedroom was quiet and dark at night, which we like. There were plenty of coat hangers and storage for clothes. The apartment was in a great location for shops, restaurants etc.

It was very disappointing that lots of the lightbulbs were dead, particularly the one on the balcony - not so great for sitting out in the evening. There was no washing up bowl or plug for the sink, which made doing the dishes a little tricky! There was an iron, but the ironing board was a travel ironing board from Ikea - need I say more? The one time I wanted to use it I had to resort to using the bed! The pillows also needed to be changed. There was almost no substance left in them at all. Nowhere to plug in the toaster, so had to use a chair as a table for the toaster.

Centrally located, clean, spacious

For us no problem but do know one has to climb 6 stairs before one is at the 3rd floor apartment

Location was fantastic, hidden quietly in the midst of the bustling old town, yet only 5 minute walk to Lake and everything you need on your doorstep. Fredrica was incredibly helpful throughout. would thoroughly recommend.

Potential guests need to be mindful of the stairs to third floor. Hosts meet you on arrival to help with luggage. Easy thereafter.

Federica and her mom picked us up from the designated parking lot and even helped us with our bags! Props to these beautiful people as they made our stay start off very well. On top of that the accommodation had everything we needed and the location of the apartment was great! Would come back again!

Nothing worth mentioning. But in case travelling with an elderly, keep in mind that there are no elevators.

Lovely fresh apartment with separate bedroom, kitchen and full size fridge. Lots of crockery, cooking pans and condiments. Location second to none on the main shopping street within a few minutes of supermarket, duomo, ferry and train station of Como Lago. Super friendly and gracious host who accommodated any request.

A microwave would be nice.

Lovely, spacious flat in a great location. The hosts are delightful, extremely helpful and have thought of everything to make the apartment comfortable for travellers. There are lots of traditional bars,family owned trattorias and osterias close by. The apartment is also well located for sightseeing in Como and a short walk to ferry terminals.

We liked everything about the apartment but would suggest a coffee table would be good when using couch.
