Everything but the view was on top

I have been a regular guest at Retaj Bay Hotel and I have always chosen this hotel for my stays. However, unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. The room had a very unpleasant smell, and the pillows were dirty and had stains on them. This was especially upsetting because I was celebrating my birthday and expected a clean and comfortable stay. To make things worse, after I checked out, I was asked to pay a cleaning fee, even though cleanliness should already be part of the hotel’s service standards. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of the rooms and services, as I used to have a much better impression of the hotel.
