Marine Park No 10 - Elie

Fantastic location and good room sizes. Easy check in with the key safe boxes.

Very comfortable and clean little flat with a nice little living and dining area. It is on the first floor which wasn't clear when I booked it, I thought from the photos it was on the ground floor., the kitchen was very well equipped but there is no dishwasher.

The shower was difficult to get in and out of and my sister who has some balance issues couldn't use it at all. You are expected to park in the street rather than use the car park for the apartment. We found the 10:00 check out quite tight given that we had to clean up our dishes, strip our beds and take out the garbage. You will be expected to take your glass recycling home with you as there is no facility in Elie to do this.

I was unable to get the heating working in the main bedroom and lounge which were cold.

The location was good and the property was fresh and clean and comfortable.

A couple of things needed fixing (the fridge and the heated towel rail in the bathroom). They were reported and someone responded but they were not fixed. Subsequently, we had wet towels and the vegetables and salad in the fridge were spoiled.

The lock to the front door of the property was very insecure. (door didn't shut properly) The heating wasn't working so maintenance had to be called on Easter Sunday (was there for over an hour trying to repair). Bathroom radiator completely broken (hadn't been checked). Kitchen/dishes could have been cleaner. Kitchen window was very cloudy - couldn't see out properly/some windows difficult to open. Blinds in both bedrooms very insecure and both fell down.
