leanor is the loveliest of hosts, ensuring everything is satisfactory and following-up and through with clear communication. i love staying here every time i am in ovar+furadouro. it's truly a magical spot with a magical host and staff (esp theresa, who is the housekeeper with the best smile:)¹ ¹ extra shout out to the kitchen design: a proper layout for anyone to whip up a decent meal.

there's not much to dislike here. i would say i have managed to clog the toilet each stay, but should just eat less of the deliciousness that abounds? nah. #minorinconvenience

Great little studio for a family of 4. Lovely old building and super location with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants all at walking distance. Owner, Leonor was super helpfull and friendly. Came to meet us just after midnight to give us keys and welcome us after a very long car trip. 🫶

"Perfect family spot"

Well appointed family studio with butcher, grocery, and a lot of restaurants within a 1 minute walk. Kids loved the 6 day surf camp! Also July was a great time to visit.

Woman sells sardines from a cart, on Saturday and Sunday, on the corner nearby. She yells "Sadines" about every couple minutes till she sells out. I thought someone was in distress. Sundays are very busy with locals.
