Todi is a wonderful Medieval town close to many things. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay. The artwork in the apartment is amazing.

The apartment was close to the piazza and the communication was good. The bed was comfortable and there were ceiling fans which helped with the heat.

The original photos showed a washing machine which was important to us as we had travelled from Australia. The owner told us that the photo was old and there was no machine. We were disappointed. The photos do not match the description as the kitchen has been altered to include an induction stovetop which does not work with the pots and pans or the coffee machine in the cupboards. It also lists a toaster and there was none. There was a constant smell of damp masked by bleach and the apartment is in some parts underground so although we were told there was a city view it mainly showed people’s feet as they walked past. We took photos to show the difference. We booked the apartment based on the photos and the amenities listed. The internet was slow and there was a bottle of wine left on the table but on further interpretation it was noted if we wanted to drink it, it was 10 euros. Rather not to offer it at all and we could walk to the supermarket and buy a bottle for 7 euros. We have stayed in Todi multiple times and we have had a wonderful time. We will not stay here again. The owner did offer for us to stay an extra night because he had misinterpreted the photos of the washing machine. We only asked to stay a little later and leave at 2pm to which he agreed. We were then sent repeated messages asking us to leave the following day at 11am because the cleaning lady would be there and we were to be out before that. Not nice and not hospitable at all. 😞😞

Forse un po' più spazio per riporre i vestiti.

Wir hatten die Unterkunft in erster Linie wegen deren Attribut „Parkplatz“ gewählt. Das ist hier leider absolut irreführend. Das Appartement liegt in einer für Autos nicht zugänglichen Gasse in deren unmittelbarer Nähe es wegen der engen, steilen und dicht befahrenen Straßen keine Möglichkeit gibt anzuhalten um zumindest das Gepäck aus- oder einzuladen - geschweige denn zu parken. Ein größerer öffentlicher Parkplatz ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß etwa 200 Meter entfernt, allerdings ist ein Großteil der Plätze den Anwohnern vorbehalten; einen der ca 20 gebührenpflichtigen frei verfügbaren Plätze zu erhaschen gleicht einem Lottogewinn. Dass wir das Auto zumindest zum Entladen unseres Gepäcks kurzfristig auf einem freien Anwohnerplatz abgestellt haben hat uns prompt einen Strafzettel über 42 Euro eingebracht. Wir mussten das Auto für die Tage unseres Aufenthalts schließlich außerhalb der historischen Mauern, rund 800 Meter und 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt abstellen (und unsere Einkäufe so einteilen, dass wir sie auch den Berg hochschleppen konnten). Die Wohnung selbst ist recht gut aufgeteilt und eingerichtet, liegt aber im Souterrain mit kaum Sonneneinstrahlung und kaum Möglichkeit zum Lüften. Feuchtigkeit in den Räumen soll ein Luftentfeuchter verhindern, der in regelmäßigen Intervallen Tag und Nacht geräuschvoll arbeitet, eine gewisse feuchte Atmosphäre aber leider dennoch nicht verhindert. Es war klamm in der Wohnung, unangenehm besonders im Bett. Ein Kleiderschrank mit Ablagefächern und Kleiderstange fehlt, es gibt lediglich eine Stange mit Bügeln - gemeinsam mit Stehleiter, Bügeleisen, Staubsauger und sonstigen Reinigungsutensilien - in einer zum Flur hin offenen engen Abstellkammer. Im Bad kann auch die hübsche Deko nicht über diverse unansehnliche Ecken hinwegtäuschen, unangenehm ist, dass die Form der Toilettenbrille nicht passt und sich bei Benutzung ein Hautkontakt mit der Keramik nicht vermeiden lässt.
