Casa Pollio

First of all the room itself was so cozy and clean and spacious. I really enjoyed living here and experiencing even more of the Italy. The owner was in contact with us from the start of the trip and welcomed us, ready to help with any questions or problems. The best part of this property is the location! Both restaurants and shops are nearby. And the most important thing was the sea with a very nice and clean beach. And what's more, the environment around the property is amazing. The site is located very close to the centre of Sorrento, which can be reached by foot or by train within a few train stops. I suggest this place to those who want a quieter environment but with all the amenities. Dd

Location, facilities

Noisey, bed uncomfortable, although it appears in the old town it's a major cut through for traffic

It was very quiet and peaceful in Casa Pollio. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms and had no problems. The mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, but still had good sleep!

Quaint little setup inside a multi tenant villa building but still provided nice privacy. Beds upstairs in attic with a small half bath was nice. 10 minute walk to Meta station to catch the circumvesuviana to either Sorrento or Napoli. Two grocery stores within 2 minute walk. Also saw a laundromat nearby but didn't use it.

Hot water in sink faucets was good but there was hardly any hot water in the shower. The toilet in the upstairs half bath had a leaky tank but we managed it by turning on and off the main supply valve next to it.

Great location, lovely quiet Italian village away from all the crowds of tourists. Apartment had parking which is a great asset in the area. Lovely garden on one side and courtyard on the other.

I had a pleasant stay at this apartment. It was clean and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. The location is fantastic, very close to public transportation, making it easy to get around. The host was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.

The only downside was the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable, but overall, it was a great experience.
