Casa Pollio

The host was very nice, she helped us to get to know the area and also helped us about the transport around amalfi coast (for every question she had an answer 😁). The place was clean and spacefull, and had everything we needed. The location is good, bus station and train station are near the apartment.. Good value for the money.

The sheets and towels weren't replaced once, but we were only 4 nights, so I guess maybe that's the reason.

The AC worked well and the staff was very friendly! Highly recommend renting a Vespa to go to Sorrento, not a lot to do in Meta and everything shuts down during the afternoon (Sorrento does not). Close to many food places and markets/laundry (when they are open)

The bed was SO uncomfortable, like so so bad. Meta is a very quiet place, but luckily, very close to Sorrento. Wifi goes out lots. Hot water does not last more than 5 minutes. When you flush the toilet, it sprays you with water from above?? Overall, wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It was a lovely large room, in a traditional historic building, with high ceilings, very clean and well maintained and equipped. Double room, with small fridge, kettle and microwave. The room was cool so hardly needed to use air conditioning. Pleasant outside court area with tables and chairs. Good neighbourhood, great location, only 7 mins walk to railway station. Beach 10 mins walk. Pizza restaurant, Lauderette, supermarket, bakery etc all a few minutes walk away. Host very good with communication. Flexible with check in. Thank you .

Location was absolutely perfect close to the grocery shops, train station and 10 minute walk to the beach. The apartment was very spacious and great for two people! The host was very lovely and welcoming!

The bed wasn’t very comfortable! The shower sprayed water all over the floor and the pressure wasn’t good. When we were washing the dishes in the kitchen a sewerage smell came from the tap.

The location was incredible and host was very friendly and helpful. She helped us arrange transport which took away a lot of stress.

Amazing stay! The host was super helpful and nice. The accomodation is a typical old big italian house and it looks great. The room was big and very well equiped. Location is great and close to the train station and the local beach. Keep in mind that you can take direct shuttle buses from and to the Naples airport (check Curreri Viaggi). We didn't know this and we spent a night in Naples which we could have avoided.

Good location and accomodation itself. Spacious room with some kitchen facilities and an outdoor area. Close enough to Sorrento on the train but away from the big crowds which was good. Nice beach, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Host was very accomodating and generous with check in and check out times

I liked the apartment. It was all clean, with all the utensils needed in the kitchen, bathroom with all the a menities including a hair dryer and a bidet ;) The bed was comfortable and it has a nice inner garden for a chill beer in the evening. The location in Meta is a good feature. Close to the bus stop N°15 (5 minute walk) that takes you up & down to the beach, or to Sorrento and Positano as well. The train stop is not far (10-15 minutes walk) and it takes you to Pompeii and Napoli. But be ready for stones on the streets. I would recommend for families as the beach is very safe. Silvana was very attentive, waiting for my arrival and gave me good directions for my stay.

I didn't like that it was noisy in the evening as the main door is very heavy, and my room was next to it, so all the guess closed it very strongly. The shower corners could use some vinager to reduce the calcar.

The host was great. She was excellent with answering any questions or issues we had. She made check in very easy. The location was excellent and an easy ride to Sorrento. It has a great pizza place around the corner, laundromat and supermarket close by. The room was clean and spacious.

Only downside is the two single mattresses pushed together.
