Beautiful location and incredible comfortable ❤️

The apartment was well laid out , comfortable and very well soundproofed. The views are superb and the location ideal, with a convenience store just 200 yards away. Although advertised as having one bathroom, the extra toilet with sink off one of the bedrooms was very convenient.

The only slight negative was having to lug our suitcase up steps to the entrance, but this wasn't a big issue.

There is so much to love about this property, starting with the views from all rooms, the spaciousness, the two toilets, and the fantastic location.

We both had an amazing stay. The apartment was immaculate and had everything you could want to feel comfortable. The location is excellent. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Tan, out host , was extremely helpful and kind.

Location was excellent. Ideal for getting around on foot in Oban and for visiting amazing scenery by car. The apartment was modern, bright, clean with a well supplied kitchen range of utensils. There were enough toilet rolls for our visit!! The hand rail in the shower, hooks on back of doors and electric points close to mirrors were all positives. Quite often lacking in rental properties but make a difference. We had an amazing week and would highly recommend.

The outside area could do with a freshen up and maybe something to brighten the very drab view of surrounding walls. It could also be mentioned that it is a communal terrace.

Key code was sent via email. No problems accessing the apartment. The apartment itself is located in a prime spot and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Large windows to the front looking out over the bay, which is spectacular! In town, and so close to all amenities. We were able to visit the Oban distillery, boat trips, Dunollie Castle and an organised coach trip to the islands of Mull and Iona, all without using our car! We absolutely loved Oban and would not hesitate to book Island view again in the future.

On arrival we were able to park in the narrow access area next to the apartment, but, unfortunately, our car was scratched, maybe accidentally by the bin men? Following this we paid £30 for a week's parking at the nearby Corran Hall car park.

Amazing view and very comfortable, clean, pleasant surroundings in a great location.

The view from the lounge window was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were good. It was close to Oban and the restaurants and take- away venues.

When we arrived we could not find the apartment but the owner let us know where it was and I believe has taken steps to make sure no-one has the same problem. It was up a flight of rickety stairs, outside. The outdoor space was shared at the back of the property and often had wet suits drying over the table.

The location was really handy for getting to from the railway station and then being in the centre of town to go out in the evening. The view over Oban bay is stunning and we had glorious sunsets. The instructions and communications with the host were great.

As the weather was hot when we were there, we wanted to have the windows open at night but there was a bit of noise from people passing by outside after a night out. It wasn't excessive and there's not much the owners can do about that but worth being aware of if that bothers you. There is good double glazing and secondary glazing which were effective at blocking the noise out once they were shut.
