The place itself, and host Etik were awesome. The villa was very clean, and the breakfasts were great everyday. Definitely have the banana pancakes... They are an absolute must! Close enough to city center to walk. Great deep tissue massage directly across the street (IDAS Bodyworks). A nice coffee shop within 100 yards across the street (Kyoko Boisson). A couple highly recommended warungs within walking distance (Bakso solo Ayu, and Sekar Sari Kitchen). And there is so much more down in the city center. If you don't feel like walking, download the Grab app. There was always a driver within a couple minutes away. You won't beat the price at HOKKY. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend to anyone. Thanks Etik, and thank you for the banana pancakes recipe.

Lovely and spacious apartment in Ubud. We thoroughly recommend staying here as we were so comfortable and so well looked after. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and lots of care was taken to ensure we were happy and having a pleasant stay. The team went over and above to help us. We will be back to stay next time!

I really wanted this holidays to be close to the local vibe and this Homestay felt like a warm bath. The homestay is runned by Etik and the family. Every day I received a text what I wanted for breakfast followed by some greetings of Etik’s kids and parents in law. The house was a lot bigger than I expected, it was a two floor with good air conditioning and new furniture. I would definately go here again and actually it felt bad to leave this place.. 🙁 We will meet again!

Honestly we have very hight expectations, because such a good grade, but we were a little dissapointed. The location is very nice, expecially the garden outside and because of quiet surroundings and proximity to the city center. The breakfast is also delicious. A very big advantage is that there are almost no insects inside the room, which is a real rarity in Ubud.

The Bathtub gets very clogged, so you are showering with water almost up to the knees. Towels and bed linen were also not very clean. We also have often troubles with opening the main door, because the system with keys is not doing its best.

Great stay, around 15 min walk to Ubud Palace, friendly and nice owner, different breakfast every day, overall amazing hospitality here

We enjoyed our stay at Etik's place, her whole family were very welcoming and warm. Special Hello to her daughter, and the lovely lady who brought our breakfast (Eti) and Bobbie 🙂 The location is great, close to everything but very quiet. The breakfast was varied but also very rich, I didn't need to eat lunch.

The "bed" downstairs isn't really a bed. Real coffee with our breakfast would be a bonus but they do provide instant and there are many coffee shops around.
