Very friendly and kind. Extremely welcoming. Felt like a home from home. Couldn't ask for anything more. The jacuzzi and sauna are also a fantastic bonus! Will definitely stay there again.

Could not fault this accommodation. We were all very happy and would love to stay there again.

Everything was perfect, and our host was the most welcoming. The Chalet itself is like a fully-equipped house. The Jacuzzi is a real plus!

It is not something we “did not like”,but maybe providing a bathrobe to go from the chalet to the Jakuzzi, would render the experience even better in case of windy days 😄 (which happen a lot on Lewis) ! But this is really a detail.

A fantastic welcome pack of essentials were on hand for our arrival, the hosts had clearly thought of everything that could make our stay extremely comfortable and special. Chalet was superb base to explore island.

Excellent and complete cottage. Comfortable and with all facilities, including a hot tub and sauna. Our host was very nice and helpfull. We loved this place and can definitely recommend.

I loved everything

Riverside Chalet is the perfect family accommodation. The chalet itself has been finished to an incredibly high standard, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, high speed Wi-Fi and fantastic amenities (the hot tub was used daily!). The location is simply perfect. Easily accessible for all the island’s tourist must-sees (standing stones, broch, black houses to name but a few), you are also a 3 minute walk away from Borgh Pottery. There is also Borve House Hotel less than a 5 minute walk away where you can get a decent lunch and enjoy drinks whilst the kids run around the play park. Oh, and just a short walk across a couple of fields and you have a secluded little beach where you can sit and watch the sun go down. What more could you ask for?!
