Victoria Bar Apartments Within the City Walls Free Parking

Really clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Great location - very quiet but only a short walk from the station and the city centre .

Very central, parking on street, details for car permit and access details sent prior to visit. Lovely apartment with a welcome pack including Tea, coffee, sugar, milk. Lots of info/leaflets what to do. Directly opposite the walls

I loved the character of the building and the flat. Very close to the train station (I didn't take the car) and also within the walking distance to the city centre. However, in a quiet area. The flat was very clean, but didn't feel sterile. Nice, relaxing decor. Well equipped kitchen-utensils,tea,sugar,milk, cleaning products, bathroom-small shower gel&shampoo; which I really appreciated, as I stayed only 2 days and didn't want to carry/buy too much. Excellent communication from the owner- clear description how to get to the place and enter the building and the flat. I really can't thank enough for the faux fur blanket as I love to cover myself when watching TV or sleeping. I travelled alone and felt safe, almost like being at home. Would definitely stay again.

I like the coziness & warm decoration inside the apartment. It has a fireplace. The location of the apartment is convenient. It’s walkable to the city centre about 10 to 15-min depending on where you go. Lynn, the host, was friendly & considerate. We asked for an extra few hours of free park after the check-out so as we cd enjoy a wonderful lunch at The Ivy in the city centre & it was granted. We fully understood it’s v much determined by the next check-in time of the guest & the availability of the parking space for such arrangement. Lynn was also very hospitable to offer us a welcoming gift of a bottle of Prosecco & chocolate cake. The best of all of this stay was the free parking especially we visited York by car. I highly recommend this property. Though I live in Hong Kong, I will surely return for another stay whenever I visit York again. Thank you very much Lynn!

Nothing we didn’t like. We knew it’s a historical bldg so we left our big suitcases in the car & packed handy to walk up to the apartment.

Excellent central location - just a short walk along the city calls into the centre. One of the only places with free parking! Clean and tidy, had everything we needed for our short trip away. The host was lovely with excellent communication We would definitely re-book if visiting York again :)
