Victoria Bar Apartments Within the City Walls Free Parking

Excellent central location - just a short walk along the city calls into the centre. One of the only places with free parking! Clean and tidy, had everything we needed for our short trip away. The host was lovely with excellent communication We would definitely re-book if visiting York again :)

Clean, comfortable apartment with free parking close to the city centre.

No clear instructions for heating (there was snow and ice the evening that we stayed.

Well located and with easy parking and an easy walk into the centre of York. Good size for 2 people, very clean, and had everything needed. Right next to the city wall near to Clifford’s Tower and York Museum, and with a friendly community owned pub 2 mins walk away.

Just be aware of the parking rules which mean your permit only lasts until 10:30am on the day of departure … local council rules.

Proximity to town and the building architecture

Bed was very uncomfortable and mattress made me very hot

Lovely building very comfortable stay right next to the walls so you can walk round not far from castle brilliant pubs, restaurants. And the host left us Prosecco and a cake for New Year’s 😁

Location. Facilities- kitchen, fully equipped also with dishwasher and washing machine. Nice touches like sachets of milk, tea, coffee and sugar left for us. A welcome gift of cake and Prosecco was thoughtful. The bathroom had toiletries too. Hot water in the shower. Heating on in the apartment. ( winter visit) Quiet location. Conservation area.

The towels were quite rough and coarse. The main corridor to the apartment smelt funny.

Excellent location, well organised owner, good communication, good parking. The apartment was fully equipped with some extras that were not expected but very welcome. We would definitely recommend and intend staying here again as we visit the area most years.

Fab location for shopping, sight seeing and the Barbican. Quiet location which was lovely to come back to. Easy parking, easy instruction to get in. Thanks for the Parkin, tea and Prosecco and shower gel other half forgot his!

Fantastic location. Beautifully presented throughout. The host was very good with giving us instructions on how to get into the apartment. Included everything we needed for a few days. Very clean and tidy. Thank you so much for our stay.

The apartment was superb. Every little thing had been thought of. The bottle of prosecco & Parkin cake was very thoughtful & much appreciated.
