Locket Studio - Cosy Apartment with Balcony

It was chilling and comfortable and the location is perfect.

I came from a flight directly to the apartment and I’ve had to wait for a couple of hours outside the apartment in the street because the check-in starts after 1 pm and I was carrying a lot of things. Secondly, I wasn’t informed about the deposit while the booking process, I only new about it when I was waiting outside and also I’ve been told that if didn’t pay the deposit I will not be able to do the check in and I will not get a refund of the booking. I was thinking what will happen in case I don’t have enough money at that time!!!! Am I gonna spend the coming four days in the streets!! Many clarifications need to be taken into consideration.

Location was ideal for a walk into town. Nice quite street.

When entering the apartment it didn't have a very nice smell, also the mattress protector was soiled. We couldn't use the balcony as the cushions were in a box full of water.

There is a security deposit of £150 before arriving, due to this we were worried that marks or damage already in the property would be blamed on us so had to go around the property taking photos of areas that were already damaged to protect our deposit. We weren't told before booking that there was no permit for parking as it was lost therefore we had to park around 15 minutes walk away and pay more than we were originally supposed to pay.

Great value just a ten minute bus ride to centre of York, flat was in good condition all you want for a short break balcony was a plus nice to sit outside and relax I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested

Only one problem was the stairs if you are disabled like me the climb up 4 flights of stairs was hard glad I only had to climb them once a day otherwise it was just great

Beautiful apartment, situated close but not on top of the town centre and all attractions. Quiet area, but with shops close enough to walk to. Very clean and modern. Really lovely place to stay.

the kitchen was nice, had everything needed , Facilitates were okay

think Parking is a Con, didnt see anyone else on the road with permits and they left a permit expired Feb on the table "apparently council sending " however i had to chase for that explanation , my payment hadnt gone through before i arrived due to their system so i feel they leave it regardless if you pay, Couldn't even send me two separate invoices for the two separate card payments they took ! Dirt on Blanket and display cushion. When I called out of hours to say i hadnt got the key code they just helpfully sent me a screen shot of the time they sent the email instead of just re-sending.
