The Courtyard by Chateau Anna, Central York - Free parking

Location was great, minutes walk to the river which then was a lovely stroll to the centre itself, not far at all. And we noticed a bus route at the top of the road .Great communication from the owners keeping me informed of when property was going to be ready and how to access keys. Property itself was clean, roomy and seemed to have everything you'd need for a short stay. Bed was very comfortable. We were blessed with good weather so spent our days out sightseeing but we were not disturbed by any noise the times we were in the apartment -it was very quiet at night -very peaceful. We didn't make the most of the outside area as we were all all day but it had lovely lights fairy lights and a table / bench to sit at and was private.

Spacious, well decorated and all required facilities.

No blind at back door, no towel rings and quilt too heavy for the time of year

Special surprise is baby cot, so the little baby slept well.

Some paper tissue will be nice in the kitchen area.

It's a good use of space, well decorated and comfortable. All of the appliances were high spec, worked well and everything was clean. They had thoughtfully left a cot for our son, even though we hadn't requested one and it's good value for the location, space and facilities available. It was a nice bonus to have the outside space in the courtyard.

The only disadvantage was that the parking was on the street,, which meant several trips to unload things from the car and due to the position of the apartment at the back of a house, this meant either walking through the house with several doors and locks to manage or through an alley to access the back.
