Central Penthouse with Stunning Terrace, Sea Views & Parking

Die Wohnung ist hell und groß, es ist ruhig, auch wenn ist nur wenige Meter bis zum Strand und zur Strandpromenade sind. Auch die sehr schöne Altstadt ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Ein großes Plus ist auch der vergleichsweise große Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage, von der aus die Wohnung mit dem Fahrstuhl direkt erreicht werden kann.

Die Wohnung könnte sehr gut ein Update vertragen. Es sind die Kleinigkeiten, die eine bessere Bewertung verhindern. Einer der Relaxstühle auf der Terrasse war unbenutzbar, die Sonnenmarkise beginnt sich an den Nähten aufzulösen, der Toaster hatte keinen Rost zum Aufbacken von Brötchen. Kompliziert war auch der Zugang. Man muss sich telefonisch auf Spanisch verabreden und sollte wissen, dass der Hauseingang direkt neben einem Friseur und einem Möbelladen ist.

La ubicación

Schöne Wohnung mit viel Platz und großer Dachterrasse. Altstadt fußläufig erreichbar, Bahnstation Denia-Alicante wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Tiefgaragenplatz.

Bei Verlassen des Flughafens kündigten wir uns an, das wurde sofort mit “Daumen hoch” bestätigt. Bei Ankunft beim Apartmenthaus war niemand da, keine Reaktion auf unsere WhatsApps und Anrufe. Es wurde dunkel, wir standen auf der Straße, was tun? SEHR unangenehm. Endlich nach einer Stunde wurde das Telefon abgehoben, dann kam schnell jemand mit dem Schlüssel. Besser einen Schlüsselsafe installieren! Kleinigkeiten: Weingläser fehlen, Handtuchhaken im Bad fehlen.

The apartment was big and spacious with fabulous balcony. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The location was great for access to old town and beach.

I would have been good to have an oven and a bigger hob to enable cooking of a proper meal and not just a two ring hob. It didn’t bother us as only on a five day stay however if we were staying for longer I think an oven and grill would be a big miss. There is everything else you could possibly need by way of equipment in the kitchen though.

The property was beautiful. Very close to the beach and the bars and restaurants. Altea is a stunning place with lots of lovely places to eat and drink. The apartment was brilliant very spacious and the terrace was amazing. Loved every second of our stay. The hosts Christina her husband and lovely mum were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Every question I asked was answered very quickly. Thank you so much. We will be back xx

My only slight niggle and this didn’t spoil our stay at all, was the shower. It was very small and needed re grouting. That was the only slightly negative thing I have to say.
