Lugano Lake, nido del cigno

Waking up to that view was very special. We loved the location. Unfortunately, we only spent two nights here, we would definitely recommend you stay longer.

We found it very difficult to find the apartment. The GPS in our car couldn't find the address. It would be great if the hosts could give clear instructions or a map to show the exact location and where to park.

Nido del Ciglo is a lovely place in a cute, quiet village. The apartment has beautiful views over the Lugano lake. We loved using the kayaks to cross around the lake and the border.

You should note you should park your car up in the village, so you have to walk a bit with your luggage. However, this is part of an old, charming village. Further on the WiFi is not always good and some parts could need more cleaning, but these are minor details, we really enjoyed our stay!

Really nice apartment, well worth the money. Nice that bikes and kayaks were free to use during your stay. The views are amazing.

Quite far for any restaurants or shops. We found a shop in the following town, but was quite a walk. To get in and out of Lugano was also quite difficult, buses are not frequent. We would definitely return as it was such a lovely area but would hire a car.

Everything was fantastic! The view is absolutely amazing. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The bed is super cosy! It's a place where we'll definitely want to come back!

Nothing. Although initially it was a bit hard to find with the help from the lady that received us everything went smoothly.

Marvelous location!! Spacious, warm apartment, very clean , stylish and comfortable! Well equipped kitchen with all you might need. Bottle of water and Prosecco were nice surprise at arrival. N espresso machine. Good beds and linens. Bathroom has entrance only from bedroom. Amazing view from the window! Historical and romantic surrounding! Free parking nearby. Car is obligated. Should notice you can’t get house by car, only by foot, don’t take heavy luggage with you. Try for dinner Crotto Campo RistoPub Pizzeria, excellent Italian kitchen and house wine( white Pino). A lot of supermarkets in 10 min in Poriezza. Charming and helpful hosts Susi and Bruno! Strictly recommended!

Lake side wonderful location,. Nice furnished big flat, amazing lake view with huge windows in living room. You can swim in the lake directly front of the apartment. A Canoe and two bikes are available. Everything was very nice, we enjoyed a lot.
