Il guscio

All was great.

Struttura veramente pulita, confortevole ed elegante. Situata a meno di 10 minuti da Lugano, in zona tranquilla e signorile. Comodissimo il posto auto riservato. L'appartamento, al piano terra, è luminoso e spazioso, arredato in stile contemporaneo con elementi di design ricercati. Cucina ampia con il necessario per soggiorni superiori al weekend. Sono presentj una camera da letto, un ampio soggiorno (che all'occorrenza diventa una seconda camera da letto), collegato alla cucina. Non mancano stoviglie, utensili, macchina Nespresso (graditissima) con relative capsule, attrezzi da stiro, lavatrice e asciugatrice Il proprietario (di cui ho apprezzato i modi garbati e discreti) gentilissimo e disponibile ad esaudire ogni richiesta e a fornire le informazioni utili per il soggiorno. Gli ambienti sono abbastanza freschi durante la stagione estiva e noi siamo stati benissimo senza bisogno del climatizzatore. Abbiamo apprezzato anche l'aver trovato al nostro arrivo l'essenziale per una colazione (latte, uova, burro, marmellata, biscotti, pane e cornetti integrali). Soggiorno eccezionale. Straconsigliato, specialmente se si viaggia in auto. Grazie ancora ai proprietari.

Assolutamente nulla da segnalare. Non saprei dire affatto se sia necessario installare dei climatizzatori (nella stagione fredda non mancano i riscaldamenti). Noi, ad agosto inoltrato, siamo stati benissimo.

Booking shows the local tax as CHF 13 but we were asked to pay CHF 15 The washing machine was already broken since "yesterday" (August 10th). If you plan your trip to have here your clothes washing day, be advised The oven door does not close, it was broken by a previous guest. We were told to use a chair to keep it shut These are not really small inconveniences. Full price is charged but not all promised facilities are available. Guests should know that the value for money is lower until these issues are fixed

CHF 135 per night. Plenty of room and tastefully decorated. Well equipped, including with washing machine, dryer, and full kitchen.

No shampoo only hand soap. Neither the bedroom ceiling light nor the dining room living room light worked. For an insomniac, it was noisy given the apartment is next to a main road with traffic lights and a hill which makes the cars and motorcycles especially noisy. Barking dog behind and neighbors above stomping around from 7:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Well out of town but free parking provided.
