Very good and comfortable accomodation in the Lugano area. The appartment is very spacious and full of equipment: dishwaser, washing machine and dryer, among others. Parking place is very close to the appartment entrance. Appartement is on the ground floor with entrance directly from the street. The landlord is very polite and helpful.

The host was very friendly and helpful; he contacted me using WhatsApp and provided us all details before arrival (how to find the apartment, where to park, including photos). The apartment was spacious for us (we were 3), the kitchen was well equiped, we found everything we needed. We also asked for breakfast, it was arranged so that the ingredients were prepared in the kitchen and in the fridge (bakery products, milk, orange juice, eggs, butter, marmelades, capsule coffee machine, etc.)

There was nothing to detract from the experience of being here. Perhaps, a microwave would have been handy for heating up a few meals, but we managed just fine without it.

Everything was good. Paolo is a great host. The apartment is super nice and has all the needed facilities. Location is an hour walk (mostly along a nice river) or a few minutes by car to the lake (Ciani park). There is also a bus station nearby. I really enjoyed my stay, and hope to return someday. Thank you very much, Paolo 🙂

Nice location, quiet and with everything you need. Owners are kind and helpful.

A carpet in the bedroom would be appreciated, instead of walking on tiles

It’s very close to the corner arena ice rink. Super friendly people!!! Classic atmosphere my husband loves it. Great breakfast! We will come back for sure:)

Paolo was very helpful and he drive us to Parco St. Michel and showed the beautiful scenery. He provided everything.

The apartment was cute, clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a skip & a hop away from the bus stop leading straight into Lugano, ~24 minutes. There were plenty of extra thoughtful touches in the rooms and in the fridge. Plus, the level of hospitality and response we received from the host family was excellent. We would happily recommend and return to Il guscio!

The bed was a little too springy-soft for us, but that's just personal preference.
