Malt Shovel Court with Free Parking

The Malt Shovel Court in York is excellent for its convenient location, free parking, and spacious, clean interiors at a reasonable price. It's ideal for those looking for a well-maintained place to stay in the heart of the city.

The noise at night, especially on weekends, was quite disruptive, and the soft beds were not very comfortable. Additionally, the two-level stairs made it a bit challenging to carry luggage. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for value, but be prepared for some inconveniences

The apartment was spacious and well appointed, very clean and comfortable with all you could need for a stay in York, having its own parking was really handy. The location is perfect, literally a two minute walk to the main town,the shambles. The management agency York Boutiques were always available, polite and helpful with any query.

There was not anything we didn't like

Price and a top location was paramount on this occasion. Having not stayed in many self-catering accommodations previously, I would find it difficult to be either critical or positive, moreover as we spent more time out than we did in. However the living area was spacious, the 3 bedrooms were sufficient for our purposes and the kitchen was fit for purpose not that we used it to any degree. I am sure most would find this property more than reasonable.

If I was going to be remotely negative on anything (which I am not) the flooring was very 'noisy'.
