Very clean property, quiet, comfortable, nice and warm. Excelent communication with the owners. Parking spot in front of the doors. There is a pub across the street, but if you plan to eat there, make sure that you book far ahead of your visit as it is usually a very busy place, apparently. Thanks to the host for mentioning it. Anyway, there is a Coop shop in the nearest village, about 5 minutes driving from the property.

If you need the oven there was a bit difficult to operate it as food ended up burnt on top, but not well cooked at the bottom. It might also be my technical skills as well. The hot water at the showers might need some posters to make it easy to figure how to operate the boilers as well. Other than that everything works amazing.

It was warm and cozy, the sofas were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the location was right opposite a fantastic but not cheap pub, within a small quaint village. It was a short drive to York and the fabulous shopping outlet.

I hadn’t realised it was upstairs, I have mobility problems but managed. We both found the bed rather uncomfortable and after 3 nights were glad to get back to our own.
