Apartment Two, The Carriage House, Bilbrough, York

Lovely setting, fully equipped and spacious apartment , perfect location for attending a wedding close by.

Very quiet and peaceful, just enough room for a family visit!

Lovely quiet location. Only 5 minutes away from a park and ride route into York. Nice size apartment, easily cater for 4 people. The welcome package was a nice touch.

No problems or issues. Very happy with the accommodation.

Bilbrough is conveniently located on the outskirts of the city of York. We enjoyed the easy access to the city without paying the hefty fees of being inside it

Rooms have not soundproofing. This meant that one can hear what goes on in neighbouring apartments.

Little gem exceptionally clean, brilliant location. Staff was amazing and attentive. Definitely be back for another day.

It was very clean and cosy and a great location. The owners of the guest house, were very helpful and accommodating and we had everything we could have Needed for our stay with our little 18month old..

I can’t fault it, I would stay again if I was in that area again.

There was an issue with the breakfast. The milk bread and eggs were not delivered timorously as promised and required a 2nd call. The quantity delivered was not sufficient to make breakfast, milk for porridge and no oil to cook. In the owners defence, they did say we must phone them but by the time we had identified the shortfall it was too late, so no breakfast.

The extensive list of instructions, combined with the deposit for breakages seems to indicate a level of distrust, not something paying customers like. I can only assume they have been “burnt” before but you did ask the question. The basin in the en-suite bathroom got stuck, but I fixed that, maybe needs a service or deep clean as they can get stuck easily.
