The apartment was modern and clean with a practical layout (kitchen/livingroom in one, bathroom and two bedrooms) and contained everything we needed. The location was perfect in a quiet residential area, 5-7 minutes walk from the historic city center (entrance Monk gate). It really felt like a home from home while we stayed there (one week). The contact with Stays York worked perfectly fine including payment. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again if we were to come back to York.

We do not have any complaints. This is just to mention that the entrance to No. 12 was a bit tricky to find; if you stand in the courtyard it is tucked away in the right corner. Also, it took us some time to find the key fob in the apartment, so ask Stays York exactly where to find it (we do not mention it here for safety reasons). On the other hand we never needed it since the door codes worked perfectly fine.

Kitchen could have a some more plates some were chipped, we would have loved some privacy blinds in the bedrooms

The house is as dipicted; Size, décor and cleanliness of the bedrooms were superb, living room and kitchen also as advertised

Lingering damp smell from the bathroom spread throughout the house, though immaculately kept. Carpet in the living room needs shampooing. Some of the bath towels provided, though clean, have seen better days

Excellent property in an ideal location. Had a very enjoyable trip with my family. Would definitely recommend.

Car was parked in our allocated space when we arrived. Thankfully we were able to make contact with the company and they advised us where to temporarily park but it certainly wasn’t ideal as we couldn’t stay there long. Resolved in the end but unfortunately it’s always the risk at these sorts of places. No parking barrier in place anymore either so cannot guarantee it is residents in the car park.

Visited same apartment last year , looked a little more tired this year . Some spillages obvious on carpets in lounge and bedroom .
