Instructions for codes could have been clearer, maybe a picture in the instructions. Key fobs: didn't work & not clear instructions for use

Location was great. Right within the old town. Walking around was easy. Many eateries were within walking distance and if you need to get food items, there's always Sainsbury Local nearby. Good spaces in the apartment. A welcome hamper from StaysYork was appreciated.

When we booked, we didn't realise that it was located within a closed zone between 10.30am to 5pm. In order to unload our luggages from our car, we had to timed our arrival to be after 5pm. (We were told wrong information form the host, they told us the road would opened only after 7.30pm. We checked York council website for correct info). There was a nearby place we could stop for a short time to unload. However, as we were travelling with our elderly parents, we needed to let them off right by the doorway. It was a little complicated getting to the apartment. We had to take a lift/stairs to the upstairs courtyard, and walk to the end and walk up 2 flights of steps (no lifts on this section). In the apartment, there was a Nespresso machine (which was also shown in the property's photos). We assumed that coffee capsules would be provided. However, when I called them, they said that it was only provided by the owner of the property and not by the host, StaysYork. Dishwasher was available, but only had just enough detergent, so we had to make sure we timed and ration it property. Washing machine was available, but no detergent was provided. Only 1 tea towel was provided. No sponge, brush or dish washing soap was provided. In the bathrooms, only hand soap was provided. We had to bring our own toiletries. We were also told that we had to clear the rubbish at the end of the stay and bring in down to the central disposal bins.

Perfect location.

Requested an early check in and later checkout but we were not accommodated...

Excellent location. Nice little hamper on arrival. Good communication. Everything worked and made sense e.g. plug sockets next to mirror so we could use hairdryer.

Directions on where apartment was in the complex would have been handy.

Location was absolutely perfect- couldn’t have been more central. Fab view of the Minster Plenty of living space for 4 adults Beds extremely comfortable and spacious

Dining chairs legs were loose and wobbly and one chair in particular we couldn’t risk sitting on Heat from storage heaters could be quite over bearing even though we switched them off a lot
