No buses near by and taxi drivers could never find it. There would be no where to park either.

Everything we needed to make Christmas dinner apart from a potato masher (glad we brought one with us) lots of pots and pans, baking trays, even a tray for the Yorkshire puddings. Comfortable bed and was asked if we needed anything Xmas eve before they closed - toilet rolls promptly left for us. Fresh bin liners, washing up liquid, tea towel, oven glove and a dish cloth left for us. Nice quiet location away from the touristy parts of York but within 10 minutes walk.

The flat (no 1) is absolutely tiny and felt a little oppressive after 3 or 4 days. Fine for a night or two. Though. Only electric heaters which made it feel very stuffy, especially as we were unwell with the flu already, so had to get the windows open for fresh air quite a lot. The bathroom fan is little annoying as it doesn't switch off with the light. We had to use the isolator switch at night to stop it whirring. Could really have done with a dishwasher but I know space is very limited in the tiny kitchen. Would stay again but only for a night or two due to the tiny size of the apartment.
