Perfect stay on elephantine Island in Aswan. Immediately at the dock to the mainland. The owner was very nice and very helpful! Every time of the day was available for us via WhatsApp about how to get everywhere and tips to do. The apartment was very clean! Shop located immediately next door for most necessities.

It was pretty hot in aswan when we stayed there. The bedrooms had good air-conditioning but the living room not so much.

This appartment is located nearby the terminal of the ferry. The 2 bedrooms are ok. But the airconditioning wasn't working. Kitchen is basically equiped. Water pressure in the bathroom was a problem. This should be fixed. Great balcony with river view. It's a good place to stay, but there are better options in the Island. The owner is a friendly helpfull guy.

nice location close to ferry and not much traffic noises from across the Nile, friendly people on the island. The owner arranged our trips by car and by boat, and taxi ride to the airport. It may not be the cheapest way but it worked well and the drivers were good and reliable.

Clean and spacious apartment with comfortable beds and a huge balcony (the view on the Nile is wonderful!). The owner gave us a lot of good advice and helped us to organize a trip to Abu Simbel. Also you can order a breakfast in the neighboring building.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and we loved the quiet evenings at the terrace. It is well located on the Elephantine island - very close to the public ferry (southern one - "Koti side", 5 LE per person), and it is a short walk away from some nice, Nubian restaurants. Stuff was also helpful but not pushy (there is a fine line between the two in Egypt, but it was not crossed here). In general, we were very pleased that we chose this island for our stay in Aswan - even tough we were a bit worried at first that the commute to the 'mainland' will be a nuisance. But it turned out the 'mainland' Aswan was not that interesting, noisy and the nicest restaurants were on this island anyway... Issue with an early morning passing to catch Abu Simbel trip was solved by the guesthouse (they arranged a trip, and it included the crossing before dawn).
