"Warm welcome and comfortable stay"

We felt very welcome thanks to the lovely owners and the cosy house. We arrived in the middle of the night due to big flight delay and found ourselves in a warm house, with some bread, cheese, jam, coffee, tea waiting for us in the kitchen. We loved the house.

It was convenient to a function we were attending. Had all amenities - TV, WiFi, fully stocked kitchen and larder. Our hosts left fresh milk, butter, jam and two small loaves to get us started. Beds were comfortable and the property was spotlessly clean.

"Amazing big place, quiet location"

One of the best places I’ve stayed in. It’s big, clean, has more kitchen equipment than my actual home and it was warm in windy October. We found very good bread and cheese waiting for us in the kitchen. Good communication from the owners and easy to find. Very quiet location. Good base for sightseeing in local area.

"A really clean & comfortable home from home stay."

Such a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage. We chose as close to Ballymagarvey wedding venue which is only a 10 minute taxi drive away. Val & Fintan are fabulous hosts & I’ll miss my chats by the fish pond & very grateful for your lift next day to collect my car ❤️. The cottage has everything you need. Very clean, lots of crockery & utensils if you need them. White goods, iron, hair dryer, you name it, it’s all to hand. Super comfy beds, including the pull out sofa. Comfy bedding & towels. A real home from home. The cottage is located on a gorgeous back road, very peaceful & tranquil. Definitely best if you have a car or can hire one to help you get about, but we also used Ubers. We’ll definitely be back…especially for the lovely homemade soda bread that was waiting for us on arrival, along with milk, jam, butter, a really generous & lovely touch to arrive to. Thank you for our stay 🇮🇪
