Lovely cottage, well maintained and very clean. Owners are so helpful, cannot recommend highly enough.

We liked everything about the cottage

The facilities were quite pleasant. They could accommodate four people for weeks. Clean, comfortable, all appliances, cookware, linens, furniture were well maintained. Great center location for exploring the region. Hosts were helpful, informative and kind. Would return. Highly recommended.

Fabulous little cottage, kitted out with everything needed for a very enjoyable stay, with very friendly and helpful hosts. Ideal location for attending a wedding in Ballmagarvey Village and visiting Emerald park. Also in close proximity to fantasia and Causey Farm. The kids also loved Balrath Woods which are just 5 mins away. Overall we loved it for a family break away.

We loved the cottage! The property is gorgeous, the location is great, and the host was lovely. We had 3 adults, so one of us took the couch, which was very comfortable. Very clean and well taken care of. There was also the most delicious homemade bread waiting for us upon arrival, with butter and jams. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is set on a nice quiet road and only 6 minutes from Ballymagarvey where we were attending a wedding. We hired a car to get to the local shops and pubs in Navan which were close by but would be a bit of a walk so definitely recommend getting some wheels. The owners Valerie and Finton were incredible hosts allowing us to settle in before they popped over from next door and introduced themselves including offering to take us to the wedding venue as taxis can be hit or miss from there. This was very nice of them and helped us have a good, stress free time at our friend’s wedding. The bungalow itself was immaculate and had everything that you’d need to experience a home from home. There were also lots of essentials from the local shop that they kindly had for our use including tea, coffee, bread, milk and much more which was totally unexpected but a really nice touch that we appreciated. We requested a cot for the baby and they had set up a full size one along with a high chair in one of the two bedrooms which was perfect. There were five of us including the baby and we all had only good things to say about this accommodation. Would highly recommended to anyone needing to stay in this location and we thank the hosts for being amazing!!

Struggle getting Taxis or takeaways due to location.

Everything from start to finish was brilliant, we booked weeks in advance,but soon after we booked,the owner,Valarie,messaged us to see if there was anything we needed out of the ordinary. When we arrived the first thing that you notice is how clean and homely the cottage is.Valarie has thought of everything, down to little details as to have fresh milk in the fridge and even freshly made soda bread with locally produced jams and marmalades. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay, and the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. It just created a great feel to the stay.i couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone thinking of going there.
